I really don’t know much about the banking industry. As soon as I saw this document, the 1997 financial crisis came into my mind. Thailand businesses got loans from the foreign banks and could not return it due to the financial collapse of the Thai baht. The bankruptcy of those businesses consequently triggered the crisis and it was not stopping domestically. It also affected the other emerging economies and even an economic giant Japan was not an exception.
Getting loans with low interest rate is really good for businesses.
