. .This is the class presentation of International Politics course. My topic is “Myanmar’s Reform and Opening”. To be specific, the topic is “Why the military leaders made a strategic decision to pursue reform and opening although they are believed to have enough capacity to control the authority of the state for many more years?” The photos on the screen simply show that the president is listening very attentively to the state counsellor in two different occasions, and the state counsellor alone is confidently smiling. The photos definitely reflect the current polity of Myanmar where the constitutional head of state has to listen to the person whose governmental post was artificially created out of the constitutional provisions.
