Group Work

FPA (Foreign Policy Analysis) class was one of the most challenging courses for everyone of us in the Fall Term of my first year student life in IUJ. We even did not know how to read an academic article properly, and it led to misunderstanding and misinterpretation of what the author wanted to argue. Although we collectively tried to digest the reading material, none of us could suggest a good way to deal with it. Even knowing every single word and each sentence of the article did not help understand the whole work of the author. Later, we got an idea to share the burden among the colleagues and assigned each of us to read a particular article, but it still was not workable. After getting over the failure of our attempt for several times, we came to know how to improve our way of reading.
